About me

I'm Kelly - a serious food lover. I live in Auckland, New Zealand with my partner and 1 year-old daughter.

I've worked in restaurants and bars all my adult life, in Melbourne, New York and Auckland. This has been the seedbed for my food passion. These days I organise beautiful feast events at the Golden Dawn in Auckland and create chaos in my home kitchen.


I love good dining, chefs, markets, meeting food producers, tackling complicated recipes, natural wines and making sauerkraut.


My heart definitely lies in wholefoods. While I'm not set on any particular way of eating, most of what is presented here is gluten free and without sugar. Though we’re not vegetarian in our house, it is plant based dishes that tend to excite me the most. Above all it has to taste amazing. I won't waste a single meal eating anything that isn't delicious.


Bonnie is my daughter’s name. She inspires me to live well.
